My top 5 deals this week at CVS 10/14-10/20

October 14, 2012

I love drugstore shopping!  When you shop at the drugstores and buy their sale items with coupons, you can really score some awesome deals.  I’ll be keeping my drugstore match up’s simple. Am I the only person who starts to get a migraine while scrolling through lonnggg list of deals??? (It’s probably just me.)  😉  I’ll also try to include deals each week that do NOT involve coupons. You can save boatloads of money  when you buy their Extra Buck deals! Each week I’ll be listing my top 5 deals for CVS. If you’d like me to cover Walgreen’s and Rite Aid too, just ask.  🙂  You can look for these deals on Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.  I base my deals on what I find at the Krazy Coupon Lady  You also visit CVS.

Here’s my top 5 for this week.

1) Physicians Formula products

Buy $10 worth, get $7 in Extra Bucks

– $1/1 Physicians Formula Cosmetic product in the 8/12 SS (Smartsource)

They have products as low as  $9.99 ( you’d still get the reward)

So you could get Physicians Formula make up for  as low as $1.99

2) Nexxus Shampoo or Conditioner or Styler

Buy $20 worth Get $10 in Extra Bucks

– (2) $3/1 Nexxus  Hair Care or Styling Products

They have products for around $10 so after your coupons and rewards, you can get two Nexxus Products for  $4 SCORE!!

3) Revlon Cosmetics or Beauty tools

Buy 2  Revlon beauty tools or cosmetics and receive $5 in Extra Bucks

Revlon Nail Clippers are $2.99 Buy 2 for $5.98 and you’ll get $5 back.

No coupons needed!!

These are great to have as backups for when nail clippers disappear, you don’t have to go to the store and pay $4 for one. You’ll already have one on hand.  At my house, things always seem to disappear at the most inconvenient times 🙂 Don’t even ask me where the socks disappear too.

4)  Wet and Wild Nail Polish .99

Buy One Get One Free

Total price for 2 is .99, so less than .50 a piece

No coupons needed!

5) Dentek  Floss Picks $2.99

Buy one recieve a $2 Extra Bucks

Total would be .99 after Extra Bucks

Check out this deal scenario

Transaction #1

(2) Nexxus Shampoo,  Conditioner, or Stylers as low as $10

– (2)  $3/1 Nexxus Hair Care or Styler

Total would be $14 and you’d earn $10 for the next transaction

Transaction #2

(2) Revlon Nail Clippers as low as $2.99

Earn $5 in Extra Bucks

(1) Dentek Floss Pick $2.99

Earn $2 in Extra Bucks

(2) Wet and Wild Nail Polish as low as .99

Total would be $9.96

Use the $10 in Extra Bucks

Total Out of Pocket would be FREE

Transaction #3

(1) Physicians Formula Item priced around $9.99 or higher

– (1) $1/1 Physicians Formula coupon from the 8/12 SS (Smartsource) Make sure the item matches the coupon. 🙂

Total $8.99 or higher

– $7 in Extra Bucks from previous transaction

Total Out of Pocket would be $1.99, you’d also earn $7 in Extra Bucks for your next CVS trip.

This weeks total out of pocket for all three transactions can be as low as $15.99   The total is a little higher than normal this week because if you are just starting out, you won’t have extra bucks to carry over from the previous week. Next week if you do all three transactions, you’ll have $7 in Extra Bucks to bring your total out of pocket lower. My goal for most weeks is to keep the total out of pocket for all transactions at $10 or lower. I just couldn’t resist the Nexxus this week. What can I say?  😉
